Visit to Hamilton Model Show 5 October 2019
Traveled through to Hamilton on Saturday to visit their Show running at the Hamilton Gardens.
I made some contacts for the Whitianga 2020 Show, and took a few photos of the layouts I saw.

I was very impressed with the running of the show. By my count they had 20 railway layouts, and 7 retail outlets. Comparing it to the show we put on in Whitianga I felt that it was equal to a larger show like this. I had good conversations with several people and invited them to get in contact, I will see some of them when I display my Makatote Bridge layout at the show in Taruranga in January 2020.
Meantime I’m also inspired to organise a bigger, better Whitianga show in July.
